CANARY WHARF
A very common misconception is that Canary Wharf is the 800ft tower standing on 1 Canada Square. Although it is called The Canary Wharf Tower, Canary Wharf is actually that whole area which has under gone major redevelopment since the 80’s.It is said to be Europe’s most vibrant and fastest growing business district, and is home to many international investors.
I found it to be a very contemporary open space, that is business orienteted. If you are caught there at 5pm, you might feel very out of place because most people will be dressed in business suits, either rushing to catch a bus or train home. others will be having drinks in one of the many bars along the long terrace overlooking the water.
