GREENWICH PENNISULAR

A well designed open space in my opinion. From the train station to the millenium dome and down the ecology park to the millenium village. I loved the green wall with water running down it to the pool at the bottom.
English Partnerships purchased the 300-acre Greenwich Peninsula site in 1997 and has invested over £225m in remediating and servicing, landscaping, enhancing the transport network and masterplanning the development. Greenwich Peninsula is home to the first Millennium Community - Greenwich Millennium - as well as social infrastructure including a school, health centre and yacht club. English Partnerships’ work on the Peninsula has included preparatory works for the Millennium Exhibition, held in the Millennium Dome, and finding a long-term use for the Dome.
